Gugulethu Mbatha (better known under the alias Gugu Mbatha-Raw) is a British actor and film actress who became famous when she was a part of a season of 'Doctor who, which is a British science-fiction TV series that was telecast by the BBC. Gugu became famous for her role as Tish Jones. The character was a sibling character from Martha Jones. Gugu's fans loved her effortlessness and was soon getting ready for the long-term success of her acting career. Gugu also appeared in various British theatre and television shows. Her mother is German that immigrated to United States from Germany in 1958. Breast cancer was discovered in the year 1989. Her death came ten years following her battle with cancer. Handler was raised Reform Judaism by her father, who was Jewish. Handler experienced a blissful and healthy childhood growing up in a wealthy area. At the age of 19, Handler made the move from the city of her birth to Los Angeles to pursue her acting profession. To help support herself, Handler began to work as an actress. However, when she was 21 years old, Handler decided to pursue standing-up comedy on a regular basis, after she discovered her storytelling talents. Handler started her stand-up career on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Badly which was a reality program with a hidden-camera/practical joke. It was in air from 2002 until 2005. The handler appeared in other shows like Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler began her career as a journalist on The Tonight Show. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006 when she began host her own program on E! called The Chelsea Handler Show. the Chelsea Handler Show lasted for two seasons. The next year, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. Her stand-up performances have been shown on VH1 and Comedy Central's Premium Blend and HBO. It was announced in the year 2010 that she will be hosting the MTV Video Music Awards 2010. As a result, she was the second female host to host the awards, following Roseanne.
